== Background == The name comes from The Duck Konundrum, a puzzle written by Dan Katz for the 2000 MIT Mystery Hunt. Since then, DKs have become a genre of their own, usually reserved for conundrums written by Dan, often involving ducks. So while Duck Konundrums are a type of conundrum, they are often categorised separately.
