The Suspect Peacock Meta, also known as Supect's IdentityVINCENT VAN GOGH, is one of six metapuzzles in PI Hunt 3. The puzzle takes the form of a page with a set of clues with parenthetical bigrams next to them. The objective is to figure out the suspect's alibi for the murder.
This meta uses the answers to the following Investigation Puzzles:
- Covers
- Crossed Wires
- Recycled
- Obscured
- Double Jeopardy
Solve Path[edit | edit source]
The answers to each clue contain the trigram EAR in them. To wit:
1. SHEARED 2. CLEARINGS 3. FOREARM 4. BEAR ARMS 5. ENDEARED
Much like Van Gogh, the ear must be cut off, forming a set of new words. In addition, the bigrams in parenthesis represent two letters found in one of the feeder answers. Map the parenthetical letters to the earless words, and read in order for the meta answer.
