EnigMarch is a daily puzzle construction challenge running during the month of March 2022. It encourages puzzlers and puzzle setters to set one puzzle for each day of March, based on a prompt. Every prompt is a single word with several possible interpretations. This prompt is posted on various social media platforms every day at 8 PM Eastern Time in order to provide a starting point for puzzle creation.
EnigMarch was created in the Escape the Podcast Discord, an escape room community, and its creation was inspired by similar month-long creative challenges such as Inktober (for artwork) and NaNoWriMo (for writing).[1] Participants are encouraged to share their creations online with the tag #enigmarch. In addition, there is a small puzzle trail embedded into the website.
