Identification (People) - The puzzle consists of descriptions of famous people. These people can be identified.

 

Intentional Ambiguity - However, most of these descriptions are too vague to nail down one specific person. Other descriptions are more tongue-in-cheek than their literal descriptions would otherwise suggest (e.g. "someone who played solitaire on screen" does not refer to any solitaire card game but rather the actor for the James Bond character Solitaire).

Paired Up - The conceit of the puzzle, clued by the title, eases the ambiguity—the person described by each description shares their first and last name with exactly one other person in the puzzle. Finding one, then, leads somewhat naturally to finding the other.
