Numbers and Letters is a puzzle in Introduction to Puzzlehunts, formatted as some boxes, some of which are numbered.
Solve Path[edit | edit source]
As alluded to by the title, the blanks in the left column fit the enumerations for the cardinal numbers: ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, and so on, which additionally fits the first O. The second column follows the ordinal number: FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, FOURTH, and so on. The numbered blanks range from 1-26, so we should read out the letters in those blanks. In order, this reads: COUNTTHESETORESTINTHENIGHT. A common thing to count while trying to sleep is SHEEP, the answer to this puzzle.
Puzzle Elements[edit | edit source]
- Numbers - The puzzle involves filling out the numbers into the boxes.
