Puzzlepalooza is a puzzling event that takes place at Montgomery Blair High School, a high school in Maryland. The event is open to 11th and 12th graders at the high school, and is typically held towards the end of the school year. Due to the way how the high school does its final exams, Puzzlepalooza occurs during a week when the 9th and 10th graders are taking their exams, leaving the week available for the 11th and 12th graders. Typically, about 300 students do Puzzlepalooza, separated into around 20 teams. The puzzle packet, containing about 12 puzzles, is released all at once, and teams have about a week to complete it. Additionally, there is a spirit week component, where teams are encouraged to dress up as according to the theme. Contributors to Puzzlepalooza in the past have included notable crossword constructors Erik Agard and Matt Gaffney.

Puzzlepalooza has run every year since 2010, with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Puzzlepalooza was resumed, billed as the 12th edition.
