The Cryptid Hunt was a hunt run by Exaltation of Larks in 2021. It was intended as an extracurricular activity to introduce puzzlehunts to UCLA students in the Anderson School of Business. Every week, a new puzzle would be released, with student teams forming Zoom breakout rooms to solve the puzzles. The first team to solve the puzzle would receive 100 points, with subsequent teams receiving 5 fewer points per place. Hints were also available, deducting 3 points per hint used. The winning team, Pauls Favorite Team solved all eight puzzles with a final total score of 780.
