Admiral Boötes' Cosmic Discovery Expedition: Further Galaxies was a hunt run by teammate. It is the original version of the Admiral Boötes' Cosmic Discovery Expedition round in the 2023 MIT Mystery Hunt, which was scoped down during the hunt. There were 19 regular puzzles, 3 meta puzzles, and 1 metameta. Six of the regular puzzles and one meta were already in the 2023 Mystery Hunt, and therefore did not count for scoring purposes on the leaderboard. Similar to the Mystery Hunt, there is no team size limit for this hunt, and the puzzles are significantly longer and harder than a typical online hunt puzzle.

List of puzzles

The mapping of puzzles to metas is not initially given. Additionally, several of these puzzles appeared in the 2023 Mystery Hunt; these puzzles instead link to the Mystery Hunt version.

Notes

  1. 6 puzzles (including the scavenger hunt) were already presented in the original 2023 MIT Mystery Hunt.
