Edric's 2021 Truzzle Hunt (the second non-treasure hunt in the series, and the first "truzzle" hunt) went live at 8:00 p.m. EDT on Friday, July 9, 2021. The hunt was "set" within a circular prison, whose concentric circular rings and pattern of doors-leading-to-pairs-of-new-doors defined the unlock structure for the hunt. After watching a short introductory video (https://youtu.be/4_n-EGDwvZ8), solvers were presented with two initial doors, with a puzzle attached to each.
Solving either of these two puzzles led the solver "outward" to another two doors (with another two puzzles), which in turn would lead to another pair of doors (and two more puzzles). But once a solver solved a sequence of four puzzles "in a row," they found themselves outside the prison of doors-within-doors . . . but still inside a large circular perimeter wall. Set into this outer wall was a singular, green door. Solving the metapuzzle inscribed on the Green Door led in turn to a gold door . . . upon which was attached the final metapuzzle.
