BANG 33, subtitled A Charity Game, was a Bay Area Night Game hosted by Bob Schaffer of Team Longshots. It was also the first hunt in the series of Elevate Tutoring Puzzle Hunts. It was a live hunt hosted in San Jose, California. It was first hosted on June 2nd, 2012 and was subsequently rehosted on September 29th of the same year. Teams The Burninators and The Judean GNUs won the events, respectively.
Unusual for most BANG's, there was a larger tax-deductible donation of $100 per hunter requested, with the intent of fundraising for Elevate Tutoring, a non-profit initiative founded by Schaffer whose intent is to give tutoring mentorship to financially in-need students.
