Singapore Puzzle Hunt 2022 was the 8th iteration of the Singapore Puzzle Hunt, with kick-off occurring on July 16th, 2022.
Pre-hunt, the website and registration page contained the following blurb about the hunt theme - "You and your team of elite puzzle-solving operatives from the SGPH Foundation make up Mobile Task Force Epsilon-22. Your unit has been activated to set forth to the small rural town of Montauk to investigate a number of scary puzzling entities that have been spotted together with the discovery of a strange anomaly. Your mission is four-fold: Solve. Gather. Protect. Hold."
This year's Singapore Puzzle Hunt saw the increase of team sizes to up to 8 members, as well as allowing teams to continuing solving and submitting answers for a week before the hunt closed.
1 week before the hunt, registered teams received a thematic hunt pack (see details below) with some equipment for their MTF teams.

Plot[edit | edit source]
The theme for this year's Singapore Puzzle Hunt is "Stranger Puzzles" (referencing Stranger Things). Teams play the role of Mobile Task Force Epsilon-22 from the SGPH Foundation (referencing the SCP Foundation), and have to first solve and capture the anomalies that have appeared in the town of Montauk.
There are 8 Montauk round puzzles. After solving the round meta, teams enter the alternate dimension Inside Out where the anomalies have come from, and have to visit various locations there to figure out how to find the portal again to return to Montauk.
There are 8 Inside Out round puzzles. After solving the round meta (themed like a runaround), teams have to solve a final puzzle to escape from Inside Out and close the portal.

Hunt Souvenirs[edit | edit source]
Teams received by mail a thematic hunt pack containing a set of customized stickers with the MTF team insignia they designed, cloth masks, and MTF identification cards (which are used for the Displacer Beast puzzle).
