These page provides a list of enabled Wikimedia Extensions and how they can help with editing processes

ReplaceText - Use this to perform useful find-and-replace operations:

  • Page name corrections - Replace "[[Page Name]]" with "[[New page name]]" to correct links to moved pages without needing redirects. Also may need to replace "[[Page Name|" with "[[New page name|" for completeness.
  • URL changes - Replace "https://www.bookspace.world/" with "https://puzzles.mit.edu/2022/" when a hunt gets relocated
  • Only members of the "sysop" user group have access to Replace Text functionality, replacements are case-sensitive, and after pressing Continue, all matching replacements are presented to the user for review and manual unselection before confirmation to be queued for processing.
