Puzzle Elements[edit | edit source]

Metapuzzle (Shelled) - The puzzle contains a shell: 24 squares (one per answer) connected by a web of arrows. Click to revealThis is enough for one emoji in each slot.

Identification (Film) - Creative Pictures is a film studio; as such, the emoji should be arranged to form coherent film plots on the web. There are ten colored arrows; each one indicates the start of the movie on the web, its order chronologically, and its order in the final sort.

Indexing - The remaining numbers are indices. The ones on the squares index into the (generally unambiguous) common name of the emoji used. The ones on the arrows indicate the end of one of the movies, and are indexed into the title. Taking the squares in reading order and the arrows by the final sort reveals the meta answer...

Asked and Answered - ...a pair of movie lot puns that also indicates some necessities for the premiere.
