The C@r@line Syzygy, often referred to as just Syzygy, is an open online team that participates in online hunts.

The team started in 2019 as a two-person archive solvethrough of MIT Mystery Hunt 2019 on the subreddit /r/MysteryHunt on Reddit. [1] In spite of their small team size and lack of experience, the Syzygy finished every puzzle by June of that year. In the remainder of 2019 and through most of 2020, the initial members of the Syzygy worked with members of other teams and seldom registered for hunts with their original team name. In 2021, the C@r@line Syzygy formally brought back their original team name, began to solve online hunts independently of other teams, and became an open team for new members to join.

The word "C@r@line" is interchangeably pronounced as "Caroline" or "Coraline", and the team frequently replaces 'o' and 'a' in its team names with @. When registering more than one team for a hunt, the word "Syzygy" usually is replaced with "Schism". In addition to representing the @ sign, the team's logo also references that many of the C@r@line Syzygy's members are associated with cats or dragons.

For Mystery Hunts, the team merges with larger teams. In 2020, they merged with Palindrome, and they merged with TTBNL in 2021 and 2022.
