Groovytron
Groovytron was a team that participated in the MIT Mystery Hunt. The team was formed in 2008 as a collection of MIT alums and students, mostly coming from Metaphysical Plant and Project Electric Mayhem. The team's naming convention involved combining a robot as well as a music theme, with Groovytron being the team's first name in 2008. The team's HQ was generally located in a big room in the basement of the Stata Center, reserved through Course 6. The team's last hunt together was in 2013.
In their first year, the team hosted a dance party in the middle of the night outside their HQ after getting stuck.
