The Providence Transplantations
The Providence Transplantations is a team that participates in the MIT Mystery Hunt. Formed in 2011, the team has generally been in the top 15, and placed 2nd in the 2024 MIT Mystery Hunt, its best showing to date. The team is largely based around Brown University, a private Ivy League university located in Providence, Rhode Island. Some of its members hunt with Herrings.

The team's name comes from the former official name of Rhode Island, Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. The team username waltkidney is a play on kidney transplant and Walt Disney.
