The DP Puzzle Hunt was a puzzle hunt run in September 2020. The hunt had a relatively low difficulty and was targeted at teams that are new to puzzle hunts, but was open to puzzlers of all skill levels.
The hunt also featured a point ✨ scoring system, where teams which did not solve the final metapuzzle were ranked by their number of points and tie-broken by the earliest last solve time. Points were earned by solving puzzles, and each puzzle was worth a certain number of points: 2 for round 1 feeders, 4 for round 2 feeders and 10 for metapuzzles.
Plot[edit | edit source]
Dippy the dragon-phoenix was unable to find friends to celebrate their rebirthday with. Dippy asks solvers to solve puzzles on Dilemma Planet to help find Dippy's friends and assist Dippy in completing their rebirth.
