Holiday Hoopla 2023 was the fourth iteration of Holiday Hoopla run by Vitamin C Squad. It took place from December 27, 2023 to December 31, 2023. As with previous iterations of the hunt, all the puzzles were holiday-themed.
Plot[edit | edit source]
Alien X has crash-landed on Earth after running out of fuel. Upon finding instructions that say "Experience celebration to never run out of a magical fuel!", Alien X sets out to collect the ingredients needed to create this fuel.
List of Rounds/Puzzles[edit | edit source]
The hunt consisted of a single round containing 10 feeder puzzles and 1 metapuzzle.
Each of the 10 feeder puzzles was designated by the hunt organizers as Easy, Medium, or Hard. A successful solve awarded the solver 50, 100, or 150 points, respectively. The metapuzzle awarded 200 points.

All 10 feeder puzzles were available from the start.
The metapuzzle was made available to everyone 3 hours after the start of the hunt.
Leaderboard[edit | edit source]
On the leaderboard, solvers could see all the puzzles completed by any particular team and the total points that team had earned (minus any points spent on hints). Solvers could also see the number of successful solves and the number of attempts for each puzzle.
Participants were ranked by timestamp of meta completion, even though this was not displayed publicly.
