Teams, as they appear in puzzle hunts, are groups of solvers working together to complete a hunt. Some teams have achieved notoriety within the puzzling community, either due to writing for multiple hunts (whether it be their own series, or one of the MIT Mystery Hunts), by performing well in hunt leader-boards, or simply by having a unique gimmick. Below is a list of teams that are known to either be active, or that have been active in the past.

A number of prominent teams have come up for MIT Mystery Hunt, and dividing into sub-teams for other Puzzle Hunts. Some teams are MIT affliated, and therefore are split across which MIT Dorm their members are from.
